FASTENER TREATMENT SERVICES

EFS supports purchasing departments and technical departments in the management of industrial fastener and fastening system supplies. Our role does not concern component design, which remains the customer’s responsibility, but the verification of the consistency of the request with respect to drawings, reference standards, materials, treatments and the matching between the elements of the fastening system. We also coordinate production, inspections, documentation and logistics, providing a single point of contact for standard and special supplies.

Mechanical reworking operations make it possible to adapt standard components or semi-finished parts to specific technical requirements, transforming them into customized fastening systems. EFS coordinates dedicated machining operations for supplies of special fasteners and industrial fastening components, with the objective of responding to technical requirements not covered by standard products.

Surface treatments are essential for improving the durability, corrosion protection, mechanical behaviour and performance of fastening components. EFS supports the supply of fasteners, screws, nuts, stud bolts, threaded studs and special components with surface treatments selected according to the final application.

Testing, inspections and certifications are essential elements in supplies of industrial fasteners and fastening systems intended for technical applications. In many sectors, it is not sufficient to supply a component that is dimensionally compliant. It is necessary to document materials, mechanical characteristics, test results, non-destructive inspections and dimensional checks. EFS relies on specialized laboratories to carry out quality inspections, mechanical testing, documentation checks and certifications required by the customer or by the technical specification.
