Not all applications require fully customized components. In many cases, it is possible to start from an ISO, DIN, UNI or ASTM standard and adapt the component to the needs of the project by modifying lengths, threads, materials or treatments.

When the required characteristics fall outside the available standards, EFS coordinates the production of components manufactured entirely to drawing, ensuring dimensional continuity, raw material traceability and dedicated inspections throughout the entire production process.

The performance of a fastening element depends on the balance between design, material and production process. For this reason, each supply is evaluated by considering the actual operating conditions and the customer’s specifications.

EFS manages supplies in carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, Duplex, Super Duplex, Inconel and other special alloys, also coordinating operations such as turning, grinding, thread rolling, milling, laser marking and surface treatments including zinc plating, Geomet®, electroless nickel plating and black oxide treatment.

In the most demanding industrial applications, fastener quality does not depend solely on the material, but on the management of the entire order. For this reason, EFS coordinates dimensional inspections, documentation checks, mechanical testing and certifications required by the target sector.

On request, EN 10204 3.1 and 3.2 certificates, destructive and non-destructive testing, dimensional inspections and full raw material traceability are available, ensuring supply conformity even for critical applications.

Every project presents different criticalities: corrosive environments, high loads, extreme temperatures, non-standard components or particularly strict documentation requirements.
