Ready for delivery before the Christmas break, the DIN 931 M30×450 bolt in class 10.9 supplied by EFS – European Fasteners Solutions is designed for demanding industrial applications, particularly in machinery and plant engineering.
The DIN 931 standard defines hex head bolts with partial thread, especially suitable for structural joints subjected to high loads. With a nominal diameter of 30 mm and a length of 450 mm, this bolt belongs to the category of large-size fasteners commonly used in industrial plants, machinery, frames and steel structures. In these applications high mechanical stability and long-term reliability are strongly required.
The 10.9 mechanical property class ensures high tensile and yield strength values, achieved through alloy steels subjected to quenching and tempering heat treatments. This makes the bolt suitable for static and dynamic loads, vibrations and cyclic stresses typical of industrial machinery and installations, without resorting to solutions intended for extreme environments.
