However, to maintain reliable operation over time, flap joints require <strong>extremely precise fastening <\/strong>that can withstand high loads and continuous stresses. <\/p>\n<p>One crucial aspect is the <strong>initial alignment of the joint<\/strong>: if centesimal accuracy is not ensured from installation, operational stresses can compromise the integrity of the system, leading to premature wear or failure.<\/p>\n<p>For this reason, the choice of screws and fasteners plays a crucial role in the durability and reliability of transmissions.<\/p>\n<h4>The characteristics of laminar joint screws<\/h4>\n<p>To meet the precision and strength requirements of laminar joints, EFS provides special custom-made screws designed to ensure secure and durable fastening.<\/p>\n<p>In this article we present a special screw made according to the design of one of our customers who manufactures laminar joints. The screw has the following characteristics: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flat countersunk head with recessed hexagon<\/strong>, allowing efficient installation and even load distribution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Specific dimensions M27 x 2 (fine pitch) x 80<\/strong>, designed to fit perfectly into laminar joints.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Material 42CrMo4 (chromium-molybdenum), hot-forged and hardened and tempered in Cl. 12.9<\/strong>: provides optimal hardness and strength over time, which are essential for operating in critical environments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shank ground with centesimal precision<\/strong> to ensure perfect alignment and minimize the risk of mechanical play.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Special screws for laminar joints: why choose EFS<\/h4>\n<p>Our flap joint screws are made to customer specifications and thus offer tailor-made solutions in the most demanding industries.
